Family: My husband, Lenny, and I have been married for 26 years, and we have two daughters, Victoria & Gabriella.

Being Known:  I was born and raised in Minnesota and spent 25 years in New Jersey before moving to Florida for a slower pace & fun in the sun. I am a cancer survivor and give God all the glory for my healing journey. In my spare time, I enjoy family game nights, evening walks and traveling.

Family: My wife Ariana and I have been married for 9 years.  We have 3 grown sons, Addison, Charles, and Chandler, and two beautiful grandchildren, Cyrus and Robyn.

Being Known: Hi everyone! I’m Colin Denney, and I am truly blessed to serve as a Deacon here at FOC . My family and I have been members of this congregation since 2014, and it has been an absolute joy to watch our church family grow in faith and fellowship.

As a Deacon, my heart is in serving Christ by caring for His people. Whether it’s assisting Pastor during worship, helping to coordinate our Care Team, LERT, campus workdays, or simply checking in on members, I am humbled to be a small part of how God works in our community. Grounded in Scripture alone and God's incredible grace, my goal is to ensure every person who walks through our doors feels welcomed and supported.

Outside of church, 2024 I retired after 34 years with Verizon, volunteering with the Florida Golf Amateur Association, workout, hike, and travel.

I’ve been married to my spouse, Ariana, for 10 years, and we have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. If you see me around the sanctuary, please stop by and say hello—I’d love to get to know you better!

Family: I have been married to my beautiful wife Beth for 36+ years.  We have one son (my stepson), Josh, who, with his wife of 25 years, have 11 children (no twins), ages 5-23.

Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. -James 5:13-16

Being Known: I enjoy driving trips with my wife, walking, seeing nature, gardens, museums and small towns. I also enjoy bicycling and praying several times a week, and am nearing a 25,000 mile goal. I also enjoy competitive tennis, chess and Scrabble, and playing guitar.

Family:  I am married to my wife Brittany, and we have one son, Samuel.

Being Known:  I enjoy studying God's Word deeply and helping teach other people one-on-one, especially. I serve at the VA and have a heart for people who are walking through life when it is challenging.

Other Roles:   I attend homeless support sponsored by the Baptist church on Nebraska.  We have for five years.  We distribute donated clothing.  The church provides hot meals.

Family:   Donna & I love FOC.  We still date after 47 years of marriage.  

Being Known: We are emotionally and financially secure.  We are in good health.  We watch lots of TV.  I walk, swim, golf and read.  Donna is an ardent member of CBS (community Bible study) for many years.  She attends on Tuesday and Thursday.  She prays every morning.  We love children.  Especially babies and toddlers.   We vacation/cruise every year with 3 other Christian couples.  Ask us about the Hoggettes! I enjoy talking with everyone.  And listen.  It’s an adventure!

Family:  I am married to Lorna for 40 years. We have to children, Sean and Malorie and three grandchildren, Mason, Rylan and Addelyn.  

Being Known: I was born in southern Wisconsin but grew up in Arizona and New Mexico. After receiving my BS and PhD in chemistry at the university of New Mexico we moved to Pasadena California for a postdoctoral fellowship at the California institute of Technology. We then moved to Hawaii where I was a faculty member at UH Mānoa. After 10 years on the islands we moved to Tampa. We’ve been here for 24 years and at FOC for 23 years.

Family: My husband, Jonathan, and I celebrate 20 years this year!  We have three sons - Logan, Ethan and Dylan.

Family: My husband, Don, and I have been married for 34 years.  We enjoy family time with my two children from my previous marriage, Christy and Brian, and with his son, Chris.  We are blessed with five grandchildren.  

Being Known: I was born in Ohio and moved to Florida in 1999.  I love being outdoors and enjoy the Florida sunshine!  Many people call me “SUNSHINE”.  I love to bring joy into people’s lives.  I retired in 2025 and absolutely LOVE my new life of exercising, traveling, painting, reading, and being with friends.  I enjoy baking and cooking too.  My greatest blessing is being a Mom and Grandma.  THANK YOU JESUS!
